Men's Camp Out: 2007
Men's Camp Out and Male Bonding Experience: 2007
On Friday, April 20, 2007, Chris Shivers led an expeditionary team from the Galey Sunday School Class out to Lake Columbia (somewhere out in the far reaches of Marion County).

There were about 13 manly-men who braved the bitter elements (50 degree temperatures) and survived the night on rations of steak, potatoes and salad (and brownies).
It was a time of sharing and bonding...story telling and fire building.

The big surprise during the camp out was actually a two-fold event: 1) that Jeff Clark actually found the camp ground; and 2) that he stayed the entire night. (or that he knew he could not find his way home, so he reluctantly stayed)

Did I mention that there was a lot of story telling?
